Today I went to a conference that discussed how we as Graphics Designers can help by designing things with an environmental friendly mindset.  Below is some friends and classmates that were at the conference with me.

MAC is 7 weeks old today!

Even though MAC can be a little challenging  at times, we are having a lot of fun with him.  He has been doing a lot better the last few nights with sleeping longer through the night and is also doing well with his house training.  He turned  7 weeks old today!  Enjoy the video of Mac playing with his new toy that we bought with a gift card from his Aunt Kathy and his cousin KT Kisses!
Thanks Aunt Kathy and Katie!!!

Mac Day 2

Well it is day two with our furry little friend Mac and he is happy as every in the Beyer home.  He likes to follow Stacy around the house.  We didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night since I got up with him every 2 hours.  He's a lot of fun though and we are both having fun being "parents"

Our New Baby...Mac

Last night I suprised Stacy with a new puppy, Mac.  His full name is "Mac Dog Pro" and he is the cutest yellow lab.  She was a bit taken back at first but loves our new boy.  Our friends Chris and Ana were the first ones to come visit little mac.  Hope you look forward to seeing lots of pictures of Mac's little adventures!

Snow days just aren't as fun as they use to be...

Well, reality hit when we got back home from arizona and then florida....Winter is really here!
Stacy and I are not fans of the snow or cold at all but when this last week hit I think everyone was surprised.  We received over 12 inches of snow and then a few days later we get this Arctic Blas that gave us RECORD tempetures at -29 degrees....that is NOT windchill people!  It was so cold.  As you can see in the picture of our house, we have no more room for snow, if we get anymore snow our mailbox will get covered.

Anyways, for our families in Arizona, Florida and Missouri who would complain about 40 degree nights, just remember us in Iowa sitting in temperatures 70 degrees colder then you, sipping our hot chocolate, playing a little wii to help stay active and keep the blood flowing!

Stay warm everyone!!!

Florida 2008

We had a great 2008 and ended with a vacation in Orlando, Florida.  We were able to spend time with my (John) family at Orange Lake Resort.  Mid week we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom and had a lot of fun.  We had a pretty crazy start leaving the day after christmas from Stacy's Moms house in Chicago in the middle of an ice storm.  We were finally able to get out of Chicago after being trapped in traffic for 4 hours on the interstate.   We made it home safe though and it is always good to be home!  Enjoy some pics from our trip!
